Tips for a photo shoot

Everyone wants to see beauty and harmony in studio photos. Below are some simple tips that will help make your wishes come true.

Time is of the essence to achieve a beautiful result. Book the session well in advance and stick to it, because there may be other photography enthusiasts before and after you.

The studio is waiting for you 10-15 minutes before the booked time, so that you can take a moment to catch your breath, settle down and prepare. The right timing becomes especially important if you come to take photos with small children – make sure that the session does not fall into sleep time.

FACE

By adding a little color to your face, you can emphasize the most beautiful part of your face or hide small beauty flaws. Professional make-up applied immediately before the photo shoot gives a particularly good result.

HANDS

Beautiful hands add a lot to the image. They help express tenderness and tenderness towards a child or a loved one. Although the face seems to be the most important thing, it is worth taking a critical look at the hands before taking the photo.

LEGS

The studio floor is clean and you cannot take pictures wearing outdoor shoes. Therefore, think about how the legs will be in the picture. The worst option is to take photos in socks. Appropriate clothing also requires suitable shoes. However, posing barefoot (if the style favors it) can bring a nice homely feel to the picture, and the round toes of small children are undeniably super cute.

BODY

In case of nude, semi-nude or maternity pictures, think at home about which clothes are skin-friendly. Wrinkles left on the skin due to clothes are stubborn to disappear and can spoil the image.

Thoughtful clothing beautifies the wearer, does not create unwanted folds on the body and emphasizes the style of the images. If you want to change clothes or try photos with “different” clothes, discuss this with the photographer when booking.

When taking pictures with children, think about whether your clothes allow you to work with children freely. A tight skirt and stiletto heels can be impossibly uncomfortable.

Comfortable clothing will help you feel comfortable during the session. Although dark tones are expected to have a slimming effect, they can make the overall impression of images look gloomy. Fabrics that pick up all the dust and fluff are also not very good.

YOU

Your wishes and ideas are always welcome. So that we can make the best use of your time, let us know what you think when you book your session.

You will get the best result if you are brave in the studio and cooperate with the photographer. Try poses and feel free. It’s good to see the confidence later on in the pictures.

YOUR CHILD

The studio is a different place. It’s dark, there are flashing lights, and there are strangers around. A favorite toy has a good effect on the sense of security, and sweets, which can only be had on special occasions, brighten the mood.

All preparations (including your own make-up) could be done before coming to the studio. Children don’t like waiting, so sulking or outright tantrums can spoil the picture.

In the studio, interact with the child, help the photographer guide and entertain the child. Make sure the child’s clothes and face are clean. This is especially so during teething and colds or when the child has had sweets in between taking pictures.

As with yourself, think carefully about the child’s outfit during the photo shoot and also find suitable shoes.
